Again, this year we will be partnering with the Pembina County Backpack program to host a ‘Fill The Trunk” food drive blitz during Trunk or Treat! We will be encouraging event goers to bring a food donation for the Backpack Program to wrap up our food drive that will run from 10/1-10/26! The Pembina County Backpack program serves over 100 Pembina County children, grades K-6 with Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and snacks over the weekends during school and throughout the summer. With the increase in grocery prices, the need for the program continues to grow and funding has not increased enough to match that need. Our goal is to help ease the burden of those managing this program and make sure children in need do not go hungry.
